Onboarding (Brokers) – Unauthorized Signatures on Onboarding Forms

Onboarding (Brokers) – Unauthorized Signatures on Onboarding Forms

Problem Description

This issue occurs when a broker submits onboarding forms to CSCS, but the signatures on the documents do not match the authorized signatories on record in the CSCS mandate portal, preventing the onboarding request from being processed.
⚠️
It could be because the firm’s authorized signatories on the CSCS mandate portal are outdated, or the forms were signed by individuals not listed as authorized signatories.

Step-by-Step Resolution

1. If the firm’s authorized signatories are not up to date on the CSCS mandate portal, the firm should send a  letter (on official letterhead) authorizing CSCS to update its mandate records.
✅
Please note that two valid authorized signatures from the firm is required.
2. Upon confirmation and update of the mandate by our team, the firm may proceed to resubmit the onboarding forms with the correct authorized signatures.
3. Our team will then process the onboarding request accordingly.

Expected Resolution Timeline

Within 24 hours after receipt of complete and valid documentation.

Additional Tips / Notes

1. Please ensure onboarding forms are signed only by authorized signatories listed on the CSCS mandate portal.
2. Signatures should be clear, consistent, and easily identifiable.
